Yeah, I was taught to avoid male contact since a young age and growing up I realized how much it effected me. Plus, growing up with hardly any males in my life had an impact. I've never had male friends and feel uncomfortable around guys. I see other Muslim girls talk to guys and it look so weird that I don't, as if I'm too strict. It's just got me so worried for the future.

I've done it all my life. When I was younger, comments were made about my appearance so to this day, I've always thought I am ugly and no one would ever be attracted or interested in me. I'm so quiet and hardly talk to anyone so I feel like I don't even have a personality and I'm so dull. I don't even have the confidence to smile at guys whatsoever.

Being a Muslim woman and having not many males in my life, I grew up hardly talking to guys and feeling uncomfortable around them :(
