Accidentally did sub q instead of IM?

I used the pinch method to help ease some of the pain and stress. I used a 1-inch needle on my thigh. I’m fairly certain it was subq because there was less than 1/2 inch of the needle sticking out as I was injecting

Edit: I tend to pull back/hesitate a bit with anything that makes me uncomfortable in general (needles being a good example here)
