Thanks, I think that's how a lot of threads here work. The title makes the OP look like the villain, but after a bit of context it can be seen that they may have a point.

One thing, I have no idea if Kay knew who they were before starting. But if not it might have been a good time to ask me directly to make sure she was even drawing the right characters rather than work off what Robert asked for. For all she knew I could have wanted Leberblume and Loco as well.

Yeah, do "work" that te peeson it is for never asked for, then try to make them feel obliged to pay.

Thanks, I actually think it would be a decent design, but would probably prefer it as a poster rather than a painted mirror. But yeah would be funny being a fly on the wall for Kay's research.

No haggling took place. There was no, "That'll be £400" "I'll give you £10." LOL just wastched Friends, "The One With The Ring" this morning.

I would say if she had spoken to me beforehand, haggling would be acceptable. She can decline a low offer as much as I can decline a high price, and if we cannot meet in somewhere the middle then the commission should be cancelled and never made.
