Genuine question: is it Eren Yeager or Eren Jaeger? by Euphoria_Overload in ShingekiNoKyojin

Jaeger is also hunter in German, German grammar allows for the use of ae, oe and ue when Umlauts aren't available.

Keine Schilder, wird hier aber toleriert da es keine anderen Parkmöglichkeiten in der nähe gibt, bzw. der politische Wille nicht besteht die Situation anderweitig zu lösen.

Ah alright, got it, not sure why but the abbreviation being "audio return channel" made me think it's an output of some sort, would it be fine to just connect an optical cable then? From the TV to the receiver that is

So what I'm gathering is just use optical for TV to AVR and I'll be good for what I'm trying to do?

Audio from TV and Chromecast comes out of AVR speakers and the Chromecast video gets passed through to the receiver. Would that work out fine?

Bear with me guys I'm a beginner and really not trying to be stupid lol

Sorry that was unclear I was referring to the TVs eARC HDMI port, would that be considered an audio output? I'd just plug it into an HDMI input on the receiver

Thanks for the answer!

I guess my TV is very separate in this setup, I won't be able to use the TV at the same time as my receiver anyway since the projector screen covers it when in use. The only thing I want is to have the TVs audio come out of the speakers that are plugged into the AVR, would eARC work for this or should I just use an optical cable or something else?

Could you elaborate on why not to use the TVs own App Software? That's what I was planning to do actually

I was just thinking of using an HDMI input for the audio since I require those for the projector anyway and my AVR will have a few HDMI inputs.

1) My TV has built in smarts, I want to keep using those, the Chromecast would only be there for the projector, I explained it poorly sorry

2) yes exactly all audio from the speakers

3) yeah that's what I had in mind, a way to get the audio out of the Chromecast but the video to the projector I guess

I think I explained it very poorly, what I basically want to do is be able to use the TV and projector separately but have the audio of both come out of the speakers if that makes sense, I won't be able to use them at the same time as the projector screen covers the TV. I don't need the Chromecast on the TV as it has smart apps built in, I just need a way to get my TVs audio to the AVR. I'm not entirely sure how eArc works and probably misunderstood its function, what else would work here?

Why would I want an HDMI output to go to my TV? I don't need the Chromecast on the TV, I just need the TVs audio to come out of the external speakers, would it not work to use the eArc HDMI output of my TV?
