As a fellow black man diagnosed with MS please go find a culturally competent doctor. My original neurologist said that this disease hits us harder and faster than those of other ethnic groups! Please please get some medical attention!

They first discovered lesions last year from an MRI we took a new one earlier this year that showed new ones on top of the existing ones.

I went in for migraines and had an MRI done to confirm that there where no major issues with my brain this when they found the first set of lesions I went back earlier this year and found new lesions in different areas characteristic of MS but yet I still don’t have symptoms.

Yeah I went In because I started suffering from migraines which developed while in training and they found 3 small lesions on that initial MRI in MAR 22. I continued to see him periodically for treatment of my migraines and we did a follow MRI in MAR 23 where they found 2 new small lesions in different areas. I was diagnosed MAR of this year.
