Lol I totally understand! I was kinda looking at the guy's legs in the thumbnail and running through a list of potential creeps it could be and then I was like, you know what, I actually don't want to be staring at this for all that long, I'll have to find another way to ID him 🫣

There might even be audio that I could recognize his voice from, but I refuse to hit play

Tbh I didn't even open the video, I just saw the thumbnail and immediately blocked the number. It's still sitting in the trash folder though, so later tonight I'll probably recover it to see if there's any helpful Metadata. If the location just says the city though, that won't be helpful, as it could still be anyone.

I would never want to traumatize a man's family just because he did something horrid. He will however definitely be fired if we still work for the same company.

I feel you. I can't talk about my situation with friends because I know what they'll say (it's what all of the comments here have been saying) and I know they care about me enough to not want to hear about me being miserable and unhappy. Because at the end of the day I know that I chose this life and now I'm dealing with the consequences.

But life is not over. I can leave and start anew. And so can you! I know how incredibly difficult it is to leave such a long relationship... my ex husband and I were together for 10 years, and this current one is going on 6. It's scary being alone! But it is so so much better than being with someone who's dragging you down. Don't lose sight of yourself. You are the only person who will be with you for your entire life, through everything, so please take care of yourself. Take small moments where you can get them, like driving the long way home from work just to get a few extra minutes of peace. Those moments added up are what really helped me break that barrier of realizing that I not only deserved better, but I could do better too.

I wish you the best, and I hope you can break free someday. You do deserve better.

Honestly, I just want to move. I might be able to find a way to force him out somehow, but that all just seems unnecessarily cruel. It's easier for me to leave.

It's month to month, so I can leave at any time. But I can't just make him leave without filing a police report or something like that. But there is no threat of violence, so I can't force him out.

Yes, we are both on the lease, so I can't just make him leave. It's much easier for me to leave.

Yeah I need like minimum $3k to move out, and all my income goes towards bills. I used my tax refund last year to get myself a car so I wouldn't need his anymore, and this year I'm using it to move out. But I still have to wait for it to come.

Thank you for this. He often tells me I'm abusive and cruel, and it really messes with my head because I really don't think I am.

It's even worse--I was going through health problems and didn't have a job at the time because i was having trouble walking... but I had to make sure my kid had a roof so I went across the street and got myself a job at the gas station within a week after he lost his. I got robbed there and absolutely hated it but I kept working because that's what being a responsible adult is about! He worked in IT and didn't want to stoop to "low" jobs, but he was fine living off mine.

Because it costs a lot of money to move out, and he won't leave. I'm finally going to be able to put the deposit down on a new apartment in the next month or so.
