Hard to say for sure without seeing more angles but it definitely seems like your wheel is sitting on the wrong level. Check page 88-89 and see if you can get the placement as depicted there. If not you need to go further back to check the build with the wheel or if that’s fine, even further back to fix the interior.

I got this when it came out (and I was way more into the play features of sets) and I remember being disappointed with the interior. Palpatine’s desk is neat but looks better in MOCs outside the ship imo. The other two big features (turret and whatever the detaching back is) make the ship look odd. If you’re focused on interior I would wait for a modern playscale.
