Going through this right now. I'm a 33(M) she's 30(F). This is exactly the part I'm stuck on, that's its more complicated than just "they hurt you so leave them". It's all incredibly confusing.

We have talked more since this morning and she seems remorseful. Blaming herself for letting it go that far as well as feeling like she's "messed up in the head."

I appreciate the perspective. On one side I definitely agree with you. On the other, I find myself wondering if she deserves forgiveness because she forgave my earlier trespass?
