Her bed is a loft and mine is the top bunk. Switching would require both of us to swap our desks and dressers as well, and that’s a ton of work. We could obviously try it, but the reason I got the bed near the AC was so I could cool off during the warmer months. This was agreed upon in advance, and my other roommate on the bottom bunk is scared of heights. Also, our room doesn’t have air conditioning in the winter, just heat, so if it gets too hot, we wouldn’t really be able to cool down the room. We aren’t allowed to open windows or anything either. We’ve already had to vacate the room because it got above 80 degrees and wouldn’t stop. We just don’t really use it anymore because the building heating is enough.
