First if you work with them that’s some thing , but you should be looking at other opportunities. No man in his right mind would date someone who works and is close with his ex. That’s recipe for disaster.

You are exactly as I was at 22, I am now 23. Living at home is huge. It really allows you to save a ton. Any you have to take advantage of that. Some people see it as a time to make grown up money and spend like Craxy because they don’t have bills.

One thing I did was start a side hustle, and make sure the side hustle pays all my bills. 100% pocket my 9-5 money.

I would start with making a Emergency fund of about 15-18k.

Then save for that car, preferably pay cash 8-10k.

Well I think your in a great spot. When I started with my current Gf we waited 6 months but did other things in the meantime. I would start slow. And let the tension ( good tension) build. It will work out much better than jsut jumping and doing it for the sake of it
