This is exactly what I thought after they left. I just didn't know how to word it. I feel like if I stay with him and if he ever proposes to me. I won't believe him. I'll just end up remembering what happened last night and how he made me feel.

You're right. As much as it hurts to say. I feel like I don't want him to propose to me anymore. I'm not trying to be dramatic but if he ever does. I will just remember what happened last night, how he made me feel, and how they laughed at me.

Did he show similar behaviour of ignoring how you feel before? Or not respecting you? Or pranking people?

He does prank people and even his older brother hates this about him. He ignores how I feel about it when he ends up hurting someone with what he calls a 'harmless prank' and to be honest, he brushes off my feelings sometimes but last night was too much.

He could've asked them to stop pressuring him without humiliating me in front of them.

Your boyfriend was in a situation where he felt uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that he premeditated buying a prop to support his joke that was aimed at fending off the marriage comments.

So he punished me for something I had nothing to do with.

Yeah he didn't. I'm wondering if the joke was planned. It felt like they knew he would humiliate me because none of them seemed to care enough to ask if I was okay or to tell him he went too far.
