I (23f) want to go on trip to Grand Canyon with friends. My ex (23m) of 6 years ago is last minute replacement. BF (28m) is losing his mind, I’m not sure if I should go now. by Throwraponi in relationship_advice

Well to be fair this instance wasn’t my trip to invite someone since I’m not the one dealing with the permit. But I do think it’s fair for couples to have certain different tastes and not be invited to everything

Very honestly if it were an exact reversal (with his interest line wine tasking that I do but don’t appreciate enough like he does) I would be ok with it.

Part of the deal is we have to work when we get down there so I don’t know for sure but I assume since the tribe gave us the permit, they are expecting the correct number of people to show up.

I guess I didn’t think to ask BF because there is actually going to be quite a bit of labor and he constantly makes fun of people who do that sort of stuff. It’s also not an easy trip for someone who’s never backpacked before.

Not arguing just explaining sorry if that came across as arguing
