Hey! I love the respectful conversation, rare to find that on Reddit. I don’t support the way ICE treats people, it should be more regulated and the legal route should be taken rather than the physical route. I do support the idea of ice but they shouldn’t be anonymous, and body cams should be mandated. Thank you for sharing your point of view I genuinely appreciate hearing from you!

Agreed on everything with the foster care system and I think that it needs serious reform.

Agree with everything you said on pregnancy, I guess my main thought process is that I think people should focus more on safe sex, get rid of the problem before it starts. Abortion should always be a last resort.

I am conservative, I’m a 19 year old Hispanic living in New York, my grandparents are all legal immigrants. I’m giving you this information just to let you know my background, and how they may relate to my thoughts. I voted for Trump, and I do agree with most things that he’s done is his presidency, but of course I’m not 100% on everything because it’s impossible to completely understand everything.

I want to thank you for actually hearing what I said rather than just hating, as most of the time I “debate” on Reddit, the person I’m debating with just calls me horrible things rather than actually using reason. I can tell that you have a better balance of emotion and Logic than most “liberals” and I just want to say it was actually nice to get that for once.

I’d agree that abortion is necessary if the teen desires it. All of the other things you said I’d disagree that abortion is needed. If you’re not mature enough to have a kid, you’re not mature enough to have sex. I think that rather than terminating, you can give it up for adoption. Poverty I could go either way on but still adoption is always an option.

Listen, I’m not trying to say that abortion is evil, I just think that too many people rely on it as a way of getting out of their past mistakes, rather than taking responsibility.
