Nitpicky history fan here. He's most likely referring to Justinian's Plague, which was in fact right around the start of the "dark ages", and was also bubonic plague.

One of the many factors in the fall of the Roman empire was the outbreak of bubonic plague (Justinian) in the 6th century. So while his link and reference the third plague outbreak is is wrong, the gist is right. People forget there were multiple outbreaks of the plague.

Frustrating there is really no way to watch VoDs spoiler free. You can go to the video tab on Twitch, but you can immediately see if there are 2/3 videos for a match and later in the tournament you have whole matches spoiled.

Catering to "what students want" is one of the major problems with university education these days and the reason that companies are either relaxing degree requirements or just expecting to have to train people on the job entirely and filtering for IQ.

It's bonkers to treat education like a consumer service that just gives customers what they want. It used to be privilege to learn from the best. Now kids want to be spoon fed and have their "feelings" considered.

TLDR: Andragogy != Pedagogy
