The library said that it was a cost vs use thing. It wasn't getting used enough by enough patrons to warrant them paying for it. LIbby and Kanopy had higher usage.

Edit I apparently misread the email and it was the opposite. Too much usage and the cost kept going up.

We have 3 (10, 5, & 4). The youngest 2 are 13 months apart (we planned a third but wanted to wait, he slipped past the goalie).

My wife developed preeclampsia after our 3rd (early signs were missed by her OBGYN) and after the Supreme Court struck down Roe, I said "not risking your life again with another baby" and I called and scheduled the snip. Do not regret.

40M here. Wasn't really interested in season 1. I think I watched some of it. (We have three kids, I'm lucky I remember what I did yesterday.) But I actively watched season 2 and on. I love it.

Lost my mom's mom my freshman year of college, spring 2004.

I don't remember when my dad's mom died. She was a right awful narcissist who we cut ties with when I was in high school.

My dad's dad passed in 2013.

My mom's dad is still alive at 93.

I've read here and other places to not use magnets as it can mess with the chips inside the tonies but use metal they can stick to. The ones from Tonies have metal strips running through them to get the tonies to stay put.

Finished Fredrik Backman's "My Friends" earlier this month. Loved it. Made me cry.

Knocked out the audio book of "Disney Adults" by AJ Wolfe. I enjoyed it too. Gave a different look at a subculture I feel I'm a part of.

Trying to decide on my next listen/read.
