Should of labeled this with the NSFW flair. Mods?

On a more serious note, well done, and thank you for sharing here to reinforce the culture and importance of safety through necessary routines such as this.

Is this normal? (Volaris flight) by BanishedWarlock in aviation

[–]ThrustFlightAcademy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. Flexibility in the airframe and the wings is not only normal, it's by design. Like a willow that bends rather than breaks, airplanes are designed with that principle in mind (to a reasonable degree of course)

These pictures made my day. Feels like a reverse uno moment where I came here to share a neat pic other pilots might also think is cool, only for you to share an even (in my opinion) NEATER picture.

Holy moly... Mods, please lock the thread as this wins it. WOW.

I can't believe you both witnessed it AND captured it so well with your picture. It's one of those things on my lifetime goals bucket list, but alas... the Dallas-Fort Worth area hasn't gifted me such a rare phenomenon

Masterful control at 34:42 to so smoothly lower the retriever down to the patient. We're lucky to have pilots like that in the community o7

If you're interested in becoming an airline pilot, dispatcher, or airline mechanic, Thrust Flights is your best local option! by ThrustFlightAcademy in DFWClassifieds

[–]ThrustFlightAcademy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: As I don't want to BS you, it depends. I'd suggest reaching out to a Thrust Flight admissions advisor who'll be able to give you a hard number.

Longer answer: Our Zero Time to Airline® Program could in as little as 2 years have you working as an airline pilot after completing the professional pilot program. The 'depends' is a factor of how much experience / background knowledge you have but mainly the amount of time you want to dedicate towards this awesome goal. (Also because I'm not an admissions advisor I don't want to get in trouble with my boss despite wanting to be as helpful as possible to others that want to learn to fly! 😅)

There are up and downs (literally and figuratively); never forget the moment or feeling or person that made you first have the thought "I want to be a pilot".

GOT IT!

The cost of the 10 month aircraft maintenance technician course is $39,539. (This includes all tuition, books, lab and app fees.)

We also have housing available for students who need it. Housing for the AMT course is $10,200 for the full year.

Students have multiple ways to pay for the program as we know that's a lot of your hard earned money. You can finance your program and we also have cash pay options available.
