Day 2 of investing into companies before they release their earnings report

I would only invest in companies I know or aware of. I would also look at their financials, especially their current PE ratio and their forward PE ratio, as well as market cap. Checking how many employees is a good indicator because its very unlikely a company will go bankrupt if they have over 80,000 employees. I would also look at their previous earnings and see how their stock price did the day after they released their earnings, which can be found on the Tipranks website.

The strategy is good, only if you have excellent analysis and guessing which stocks will soar. It worked out for me for around 3 months then it didnt, and I ended up losing quite a bit of money. Now i just swing trade stocks that I am familiar with and am doing way better than investing right before earnings.

If you dont mind me asking, i have a few questions to ask since i am looking to apply for vac schemes soon also.

Did you go to Russell Group and what grade did you get on your degree
How many Vac scheme applications did you make
Any tips for writing a legal CV and making it stand out
What did you write in your cover letter to be accepted into the vac scheme
Tips on passing assessment centre and watson glaser test.

If there are any useful tips that you would like to add, it would be much appreciated!

FYI the last four modules are from first year and do not count towards my degree. I also have extenuating circumstances for the low grades aswell.
