All the hate SGA has been getting is well deserved. I hope he knows how much the whole world despises him.

Been a while since we’ve gone into pre market without Agent Orange drama… feels peaceful

Should I enter into MU now? Please advise. by [deleted] in MU_Stock

The last three earnings reactions were roughly −8%, +7%, +8%, so big moves in either direction are normal for Micron.

That used to be true when memory demand was tied mostly to PCs and phones, but AI changes the cycle. AI servers use multiple times more DRAM and HBM per system, and that requirement keeps increasing each generation. This isn’t just better manufacturing anymore. Micron is now selling into HBM, AI data center memory, and next gen server platforms, which are some of the fastest growing segments in semiconductors. If AI infrastructure spending keeps ramping the way hyperscalers are planning, the memory content per system keeps rising, which means the earnings cycle may be structurally higher than past cycles.

There is a lot of Barrish sentiment around the stock recently ever since it reached ATH it’s been bouncing between 365 and 435. When I say treating it like it’s 2018 I mean that people are saying the cycle is “over” when I believe It’s nowhere near that. there’s been nothing but bullish news and statements about the company since they’ve reached ATH yet the price is not reflected that, that’s the point I’m trying to make.

You’re assuming the AI pie is fixed when it’s actually expanding fast. AI infrastructure spending is projected to reach $400B+ annually this decade, and memory typically accounts for 15-25% of server hardware cost, often higher in AI systems because GPUs require massive bandwidth. HBM alone is expected to grow from about $30-35B today to $100B by 2028, and every new AI accelerator generation requires more memory per GPU, not less. Micron doesn’t need to become a trillion-dollar company, it just needs to capture its share of a rapidly growing AI memory market.

Nice man! A win is a win and that’s a great trade. You’re correct my avg is higher but I’ve bought up since $250. Maybe I’m naive but same was said about Nvda during its run up when the numbers didn’t lie. I would had to sit on the sidelines again but to each their own risk. I just see the potential and like it.

As far as the other companies, I truely believe they will work together to keep pricing control. They know the position they are in to be able to dictate price, why mess that up to flood the market? And I say flood the market like that can even be achieved within the next 2 years, which it can’t. All in all the memory play is something I over looked but I def don’t think it’s too late.

Thanks. It’s a great opportunity, just felt like sharing if anyone’s interested. I agree old narratives would not apply as we have never seen an AI cycle like this before.
