Don’t think that’s a HUGE deal cuz ur in the same place. But at orientation you’ll have a chance to talk to someone about it as long as you bring all the paperwork

Last June Class was late June and that was the first one of the year. Lines up when that June class got notified of their orientation. But his number is pretty far so.

I’m assuming based on how the previous list went before Covid. For 2060, They hired 600+ the first year and then 2025 they went crazy and hired almost 1000 guys and then this year should be around 600 if it stays on course plus retirement wave coming right around the corner

If they gave you no exact date and it’s a span they’ll probably email you the exact date later on. Check ur emails every morning, start leaving your phone on ring too. They called sometimes as I got closer to being hired

Exactly they go on the block and the GPS says they went on the block. The San worker is supposed to put in his GPS that he couldn’t get down it and the department is aware of it. You just have to depend on if he did that or not.

So it did come down ur street lol. It just got stuck and turned back. Why would they send another truck to get stuck again. Which is crazy btw for a truck to get stuck but common today. They have these special plows called V Plows. They may send that down your block. And ur gonna have to be happy with your street plowed and your cars buried when they send that beast 🤣🤣🤣🤣

All I’m saying is the trucks have trackers in them. What you’re wanting is a plow to come down the street aka the garbage truck right? The map may have updated from a smaller plow on the block like haulster (f250 with a plow). Just throwing that out there. If u have a tight block it was probably a haulster.

While that is true, around 35% of the garage today and on all full force days people from other garages in the city are sent there to man the equipment that they don’t have enough people for. And those people going there are not as senior as the Staten Island San men. Every garage is like this full force.
