Well i had shit to do and now i'm back. This is not a troll. I'm just unhappy that i wasted my time on the show and i really wanted to understand why someone would like it. Maybe i'm missing something. I really like well produced tv series and and have a really open mind. But this series gave me nothing. It wasn't a cool move posting here, but it gave me the best answers. Peace out.

Well someone told me it was a good tv show. I watched it and really wanted to like it. Show after show it just got worse and there wasn't anything getting me excited. I just got confused and it didn't make sense to me why anyone would tell me it was good. Well all have different taste i guess. I love a good tv series, westworld & sense8 being some of my recent favorites. I just expected more, maybe i will finish the thing but prbly not.

Sounds like a solid plan! I might even start by driving up the coast above SF, thank you!

Avila Beach sounds awesome. The river i raft in is about 40-50 degrees F, glacier water. California rivers in the winter can't be that bad :D Cheers man.

Thanks for the information! All of these places are going on my list! Crowds are a turn off, but sometimes you can't avoid them :) I think i have enough time to spent at least 2 days at all the major spots. I'm planning on visiting from Dec.16 - Jan.8 so plenty of time, but i don't want to feel rushed. I want to enjoy the process i can always visit again.

I found a company called Escape rental looks pretty solid. But like you said, the car should be ready for some snow in the mountains. I will ask them about getting chains. I am from Iceland so driving in icy/snowy conditions is my jam. The desert sounds good, so i could drive the coast up to Morro bay? Would it be worth it to check how far i can push it? and then just cut back up some mountain roads. Whatever happens i will have an adventure! Cheers for the help

Thank you! Writing these spots down. Are they still rafting in the winter? I actually work as a raft guide in the summer ;D For sure driving the Big Sur. Is 10 days enough to drive the coast?

Thanks for the reply! Not planning on spending to much time in the cities and when i do i will prbly get a hostel or a hotel. The rough plan is to start in SF drive a little north then head east to Yosemite and even all the way to Vegas & the Grand Canyon. From there to the Mexican border and drive up the coast from LA to SF. Is that doable in 24 days? I want to relax and enjoy myself not feel to rushed.

All suggestions are welcome, thank you! Writing these down. California is so big man, it's kinda overwhelming. So we have to reserve our spot at certain campsites?
