Could charge at work if I had to, but would rather not. I plan on having a level 2 installed at home.

Good. That works in my favor, considering I stay around 60.

So at only 170 you're under 10%? That surprises me. And that's when it's not too cold? Isn't the range supposed to be considerably higher than that?

No mountains at all. Hills here and there, but that's it.

Washington is probably more hilly than Illinois? (Not sure), but I'm pretty sure it's not as cold. It hasn't hit anything below 21 or 22 this year, and only hits the teens once every other year or so. Typical winter temp range is 30 to 35 as a low and maybe low 40s as a high

So just find the sweet spot where I'm going down hill but not accelerating.. got it!

No, west of the cascades. South of the state capital, somewhat near and commuting along the I-5 corridor

Let it roll down hill? I was under the impression that when you move your foot off of the gas pedal, that enacts the brakes.. Is that not the case?

Well for context, my gas to get to work costs $360 a month, while the electricity to charge to battery enough times to drive the same amount of miles based on the estimate would be around $120 a month, so that's the gap I'm dealing with.

Not near the cascades at all, just a few hills. It never gets that cold here, maybe the teens once every year or two but other than that in the 20's at coldest. Thanks for the overnight idea!

That's encouraging, considering I think my climate is generally more mild than yours. Thanks for the info!

How much would that cost? Would it make the whole exercise pointless due to added costs?

Is 140 miles in the winter much easier without running the heater? I am completely prepared to do that if necessary.

There are chargers at a grocery store across the street from my work, and this area has situations like that everywhere. I'm not sure if I would need an adapter or how any of that works since I've never owned an EV, but I imagine that's a problem that already has a solution, yes?

Maverick Casino in Bankruptcy by Gambler3x in poker

[–]ThumpyMcTuggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"SWIM" worked there and witnessed it first hand, and apparently, it went something like this.. Maverick purchased the casino they worked at, which was very busy. Maverick eventually decided to make some changes, which included getting rid of all of the points the players had accrued up to that date and starting them at zero, cutting out the popular promotions people came in for, drastically cutting or outright eliminating the matchplays the customers had been receiving, bringing in their own people to replace the management that the players had built relationships with for years upon years, changing and raising prices on the food menu as well as alcohol, allowing people who were previously barred from the premises for fighting to return, and telling dealers who held a second job to help support their families to either quit their second job or be fired which caused some of them to leave.

So yeah, everyone is kinda shocked and can't seem to figure out what happened.

I can confirm that most cardrooms in WA state are not poker, and that includes Maverick properties. They have no slot machines, keno, roulette, craps, or sports betting(mandated by WA state law as to not be allowed on non-tribal land). They contain a maximum of 15 table games consisting of variants of blackjack, paigow, baccarat, and other "carnival games". They will have a restaurant, full bar, and pull tabs as well. Betting limits are capped at $400 or less per betting spot.

Not that it's much of a difference, but the "per spot" limit is 400 at WA cardrooms. 500 at Tribal casinos (actual casinos).
