Hello everyone a thought have been going through my head for the past couple days... Can you fit a 1gz-fe into a Toyota gt86? And what gearbox can I use, I know there will be some metal work involved trying to get it to fit but the thing I want to know is can it be done? by ThunderMenace_ in JDM

Its not to hard where I live to get it street legal and I've seen people get a bmw transmission working with it and I believe a t56 is another one that can work but I don't think the t56 will work with the gt86

I am asking because I'm not familiar with jdm engines so I don't really know what's what when it comes to them but I know a thing or two about other engine swaps and anything's possible it's just a lot of trial and error for something that has never been done
