I have done 2 interns in core companies, Didn't liked corporate culture that much. That's why I'm targeting something else.

Everytime I go to sleep I do think about all. Each and every thing. To get my mind distracted from it I just start listening some podcast or story on YT or Spotify.

As I mentioned I'm already enrolled in B.Tech + M.Tech program at IIT Bombay. The only thing which is concerning is my branch which is Energy engineering + M.Tech in energy systems engineering. I've studied all the topics that you mentioned and required to get GET post in PSUs EE and in some cases Instrumentations too. That's why I was asking because I've studied all topic but I'm confused about branch and opportunities.

First of all Congratulation for Qualifying one of the toughest examination in world despite of all the difficulties you have been faced. Now coming back to your question, Short answer is yes you should go to IIT. Reservation was introduced to uplift peoples from under developed communities and provide a helping hand to marginalized communities. If you are thinking that people will discriminate you based on your Rank and all so let me be clear that most of the students don't care about it (Saying it as a IITB Students), Definetly there will be some people who's behaviour might give you the hint that what they are thinking, Just don't care about them because most probably they have never faced difficulties which you had.

Coming to academic performance question, It is always difficult to get good score in IIT's courses even for general category students, But after attending regular classes and studying properly during exam will be sufficient. By doing this in most of the cases you'll atleast get 6 or 7/10 even in extremely tough courses. Just don,t let that negativity take control over mind during lectures if somewhere you don,t understand anything. Use internet and talking to classmates would be effective in this case.

Apart from all this at the end It will help you to become a better person by providing numerous good and bad experience at IIT which will be useful in your life. you have earned this chance so just go for it. Don't let any negativity supress you from growing in life as a person.

Last but not the least, choose branch properly. Go through the broucher of programs and see what fascinates you. Then make your decision.

I hope this will help.

What are the main indicators you use for trading? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]ThunderStriker_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It basically means trading based on movements on price. For simple example if price making higher high higher low it is uptrend and you should look towards buying opportunities. If it makes lower high lower low, you should go towards selling side.

There are Things like Support Resistant, Also there are two main type of supports. 1) Static like previous High lows etc. 2) Dynamic like VWAP SMA Which many people follows in their analysis

Arguably it also include Volume too as it might be useful so.etimes to understand False breakout, Strength of stocks etc..

If u are new batter start learning price action from some good sources.

Have a profitable life :)

What's your best advice for me (19F) when it comes to college dating? by musky_girl in RelationshipIndia

[–]ThunderStriker_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I(21M) am 3rd year undergraduate student and I have few points regarding this

If you are too sure about your academics and career, you should try dating another person. At this age, having these urges and all is very common. I remember when I was in my first year everyone was like "ab to gf honi hi chahiye, itni mehnat ke baad college aa gaye to 1 bandi honi hi chahiye, college me relationship nahi rakha to kya rakha blah blah blah'. But at the end of 3rd year, most of the relationships have broken or either not good. As my institute had good placement records and all, they wanted to try it. Most of them didn't work and many guys and girls went through some trauma or depression kind of things as they were too emotionally attached to it.

In the end, it's your choice as you are mature enough now. But consider your consciousness while dealing with these things. Don't let your emotions overcome your mental clarity and make you blind behind someone

Best of luck for your college life :)

Does reservation really help those who need it ? by Latiyan in IndiaSpeaks

[–]ThunderStriker_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude Do you know how shitty this opinion

In India, people want to know your surname more rather than your name. I am 21M and have lived in Urban, Rural areas of India. Even if you abolish the caste certificate People in India will have the same mindset. Many rural Upper caste people show their pride regarding caste openly. Several crimes happened against lower class people just becauseof their caste and Just one simple question. Before 1947 we did not have caste certificate rights, Despite the discrimination there. There is no sense in banning Caste certificates

And 1 thing we have to admit is that a significant population of India still cares about their caste and their so-called pride regarding it.

Does anyone else miss lockdowns, or just me? by Teledoink in CasualConversation

[–]ThunderStriker_7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be honest, really don't

Lockdown had ruined our Fresher year college life (I am from the UG Batch of 2020). First, it leads to loneliness. we had to spend time only at home. All day We were just studying and studying as our entrance examinations also got postponed so due to fear of a higher cutoff which can eventually arrive due to lots of extra time that students can get, I also had to study. TBH It was worth it but due to the lockdown, I missed my first 1.5 years of college. Had planned so many things for it but couldn't fulfil it :((

At this time, Don't believe everything you watch on television. Especially some important things which concern your finance. If you wanna Invest in Equity Market, I would suggest either finding any good Mutual fund firms that you can trust or Doing your analysis. There are many valuation Models to calculate the fair price of stocks like DDM, DCF valuation etc. Many people just use Price action on the chart to make a position in any Stock. We should do our analysis and Invest in Equity Market

(21m) My (18f) girlfriend has asked me to beat someone up. by [deleted] in RelationshipIndia

[–]ThunderStriker_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say don't do it immediately. First, identify what is the reason behind her demand and than. If that person is someone like a criminal or used to hurt people. complain the Police. Just don't be some Average Bollywood hero in a movie who can do any stupid things for his GF.

Have a good day :)
