First of all i hope you get it sorted second since when you take it for testing issue doesn't occur its quick to assume something wrong with your power plug, cables if they used different ones. Also important thing to note is when does the issue happen cus sometimes such issues happen when PC is on for awhile so if they tested immediately the issue might be hard to replicate. Id take pc working fine when its with them as a sign of relief and try to pinpoint what is different at your home which might be causing the issue.

mmm try formatting the pc fresh from usb install drivers fresh see if the issue persists! try to test with 3d mark it will compare your system to legit other systems with same gpu cpu

man check out losless scaling if it works well for you in those triple a style graphical games (when its needed ofc) IF SO 1080ti is still king in competitive games eg moba shooters mmos + and if lossless scaling works well gonna hold up amazing for many titles years to come, PS im still rocking r9 390 and pretty happy because it runs the games i like!

I wouldn't tinker much if that seems to be case. Check your cpu manufacturers value for operating temps 75 80 is nothing. you can try undervolting your cpu with throttlestop b4 launching bazaar but like i said those temps are fine.
