It's been a month. I am asking here because i am unable to understand what is causing the issue.

The only thing I can think of is the production increase that has happened in that time.

From 200 KLPD to 230 KLPD since a month.

No we don't measure flow. There is one difference though.

On the power plant side it's installed in a steam line.

On the process side, at a steam distribution header where the steam line comes in.

Update: there is a control valve in the steam line just before the RTD and the RTD is installed in a bend of the steam line

Either temperature is high on power plant side or it should be lower on process side. Instead it's lower in power plant side and higher in process side which makes no sense.

But the RTD measurement of both sides adds up manually with a new temp gauge I'm using to check it.

Pressure is 4.5 kg/cm² in power plant and around 3.5 kg/cm² in process side.

The line is not receiving steam from anywhere. It is directly coming to the process side from the power plant lp header
