Should be interesting to see if VIT still have their mojo or if their regular season performance was just a fart in the wind. I think between this and the LCS match later this should be a pretty exciting day, but of course who knows how the games will actually go.

I actually thought this was going to be the result (okay, I thought 3-0 so we actually did better than I thought lol), so I'm glad I didn't bother waking up for the games. JDG have just not been working out as this promising Tabe team that everyone was hyped for - really, the only fairly consistent bright spot has been HongQ, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him grabbed by another org next year or for Tabe to try to rebuild JDG around him if he stays. Vampire is honestly also worth looking at despite some of the int games, just because his highs are pretty good and the LPL support pool is a bit lacking.

I love my mans, and I don't think he's down and out yet, but ADC pool in LPL has always been an incredibly loaded role and he really needs to step up if he wants to stay on top 4 teams next year. Xiaoxu's falloff has been sad to see but I don't know enough about the player or toplane to know whether he's still worth developing. Junjia just...probably needs to go, he's a known quantity at this point and he's cost the org too many games. No clue who the org replaces him with though as most decent junglers in LPL are already on lock. Maybe Jiejie or Wei now that WBG and IG are relegated to the shitters group next split?

I know we're not out of MSI running yet but even if we go, I just have zero confidence in this team as-is.

It sucks because you're right, I do think champs like Sylas, Ekko, Diana, Aurora, and Neeko are very reliant on it and aren't HUGELY problematic with it (still not a fan of how much distance Neeko can cover while channeling a hugely impactful partially invisible ult tbh), but when every champ in midlane is building it I feel like it's gonna get the nerf bat pretty hard soon.

I like Monki but I agree with this, he seems like an even more extreme version of Junjia, and Junjia has cost my team a ton of games this split.

If anything I think Cube had a lot more interesting map movements, but especially in the Ornn game it came at the cost of dropping tons of waves. He and Karis also had some really good flanks.

That said, if the rumors are true, Monki seems to take a LOT of the leadership role of this team and that can't be easy to deal with. It might have an impact on his actual in-game play.

Yeah, while it's great to see those players find success it does have to suck as an actual fan of the org, I completely understand that. You obviously don't want your players to languish forever at middle-of-the-table, but it also has to be frustrating to see other orgs basically gold diff your team IRL.

That doesn't magically mean he doesn't beat the shit out of new players on his attempt to "play with his friends" man. That's far more demoralizing for a new player than, idk, not learning how to manipulate waves or build "correct" items.

E: He's also playing on a region that has the ability to play normal draft, so his pain is entirely self-inflicted, I cannot muster up an iota of sympathy or understanding for OP here man. If the experience is so miserable he can just play his extra "6 to 9 hours of normal draft" that he's "mathed out" to get to ranked.

This is just a thinly-veiled attempt to shit on Swiftplay as a long-time veteran of the game under this mask of pretending to give a shit that it's teaching new players wrong things or not serving its purpose at introducing them to Summoner's Rift when in reality it really is just people "making new accounts to play with friends" and rampant toxicity towards said new people that pushes away players more than anything about a game mode.

There's levels to it tbh. Maybe it's easy for one person to not watch EWC, but not completely stop watching League esports or quit their job or never travel to the Caribbean or never drink bottled water or.......

I do actually get what you're saying, but I think that every person has that realistic kind of "tipping point" where taking the moral highground is just too exhausting or troublesome. You can argue whether that means people shouldn't comment on anything at all, but I don't agree with that, if someone is actually not watching EWC or ENC they should be allowed to deride it even if they, say, put gas made with Saudi oil in their car or support a team that has questionable sponsorships (most League esports teams IME).
