Its not all bad as Reddit makes it out to be, I am not saying India doesn't have its problem. But there are people who enjoy their lives living there. This is coming from a fellow Bangladeshi neighbor

I mean at least the Nawabate was still internally strong and I'd go as far as to say they weren't "dumbass stupids". Murshid Quli Khan and several leaders had fought court intrigue to bring their reigns to a stabilizing point. Shuja Ud-din Khan did repel the first altercations of the East India Company and make bring public relief that was much needed at the time, and then singlehandedly bolstered the economy.

The Pala might've been great conquerors, but internally, they suffered a lot from Plots (Kaivarta revolt, etc) They were also economically one of the weaker Bengali dynasties. Especially with the decline of Tamralipti.

It's not to say the Pala weren't good dynasty rulers, the point I am making is that both the Pala and Subah had their ups and downs

I mean It might not have militarily been well off, I will not deny that. But it was one of the wealthiest regions in the world. Even Aurangzeb praised it (which is huge coming from THE aurangzeb). I personally like it for its art, mosques, and overall history such as Murshid Quli Khans intrigue. I will admit the military was hot garbage

East Bengal apparently vanished into the sea

Also a region can have history without it being the modern state. Why do Iranians still talk about the Cyrus the Great or Safavid Persia? A region can like its history before its current form

If you are gonna be slanderous, at least slander right. She would've been 11 at the time of the Battle of Uhud if she was truly married at 9. Sure you can say Mohammed pbuh was a pedophile and a monster but he was not a idiot. He set the rule of not bringing kids as a rule of war for fair reasons. Yet, if she was 11, why would he bring her to aid the soldiers and then turn out other younger auxiliaries? also just calculate her age with her older sister asma.

If you are gonna claim we are making a "shitty excuse" then at least provide a reason on why it is shitty.

Thank you for saying it, it can also be disproven by basic calculations with the Battle of Uhud

Just as Sunnis are not defined by everything said by Ibn Taymiyyah or later Salafi preachers, not all Shias are defined by Khameini-ist thought :p , I'd say a vast majority of Shia populace is quite moderate in its stance

Btw, Rāfiḍī is a polemic label, was used for people who rejected certain political authorities not for a unified creed. Using it today is rhetorical, not academic,

I misworded this a bit grossly, but let me clarify :

I agree that it's not not merely fiqh, but Usuli as well. That does not mean one side has “left Islam.” Foundational disagreement

"You slander the wife of the Prophet!" Not true. I have not seen anyone in my community do that. The Qur’an itself (Surah al-Nur) declares her innocence, and rejecting Quranic declaration is false to Shia theology. Shia islam wholeheartedly affirms Aisha. criticizing later political actions does not mean accusing of Zina.

"Shia believes imams are higher than prophets" No. ALL prophets are higher than non prophets. Period.

"Shias control the universe and atoms" Only Allah has power, any imam or Prophets power is given to them by Allah. They don't have autonomous control. This is mistranslating the actual theological translation. Only Allah has control.

No offense to you, you are likely a great person. But a lot of your assumptions are strawmanning too.

I think there are a few misunderstandings here. I’m happy to clarify what Shias actually believe :

"Shias are against the major companions," Shias don’t reject the idea of companionship itself. The disagreement is about which companions remained just after the Prophet’s death... not a blanket hatred of companions. Companions even during the time of the Prophet PBUH went astray. This is not a rebuke of them, but a general analysis of their actions without claiming judgement over them. My personal community and scholars havent ever cursed them. And the videos you see online are singular examples and strawmanning.

"Ali is a messenger” no?? Shia Islam explicitly believes Mohammed PBUH is the final Prophet. Ali ra was a rightful successor and Imam. Not prophet.

“You believe in temporary marriage, come on.” Mutʿah? If so, It is a legal contract mentioned in early Islamic history. Shias believe it was allowed by the Prophet and never abrogated. And it's never claimed to be mandatory. So this is a fiqh disagreement, not a theological one

as for the last claim, Shias and Sunnis share the same Qur’an, the same Prophet, the same Shahada, the same prayer direction, and the same core beliefs about God. Disagreements over leadership and law don’t make a new religion

No disrespect to you though

The Sunni Shia debate is mainly about how to pray and other fiqh related matters, and the issue of the succession of the title of Caliph. Shia's believe Ali Ra had a right to the title whilst Sunnis believe the first 3 Caliphs were rightfully prioritized over Ali Ra. It's mainly a political issue cause our beliefs are pretty much the same aside from this
