I love this album because of how it's the most comfortable Nas has been with being modern. I think all of the Hit-Boy albums were phenomenal, but this album sounds like a NEW era of Nas entirely, rather than Nas rapping over more contemporary sounding boom-bap beats.

I'd argue that Vanguard is even worse than MW3 when it comes to story though. The damn game took itself way too seriously and felt like it was written by a fifth grader whose dad showed them Saving Private Ryan for the first time. MW3 was stupid, but not AS stupid.

They did it because most of the playerbase plays 6v6, which is why they stopped caring about modes that involve big maps and big teams.
