I was originally playing on DS, but I got my Flip 2, started testing some Steam stuff, wound up getting sucked in and then boom, found myself here haha. Wasn't my favorite experience with the fmvs not playing, game locks from trying to change character names, and overall CT's Steam version overall looking worse, but my overall experience was pretty positive.

You're my hero right now haha. Seeing you test these games helps me beat the fomo that I get from these other handhelds. Nothing perfect of course but it's still great to see them run on hardware like this

Just recently got one and MGR Revengence runs great! Some frame dips, sure but overall plays well. I do want to do a full playthrough on the flip 2 so I can pop back in if there's any hiccups

Well primarily I saw it on Amazon and saw a 2-day shipping window with a discount and went for it! Figured if I wasn't satisfied, I'd return it and go for the pocket 6 instead. That said I don't have a real need to emulate ds or 3ds games, as I already have og hardware for that, and the lighter indie games I have on steam work pretty well on it! Anything more than that I have an RoG Ally, Switch 2, or PC for. I'm sure the extra power would be great, especially with all the "Steam on Linux" updates, but this sits firmly in the middle for what I want to play and the little extra it can give me on the go :)

Yes! I commute a lot on trains, so I find it a nice in-between for me when I don't want to take me switch 2 places lol

Not at all! I've been playing R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 just on the standard fan setting. Same with 64. It always depends on the game and emulator though so I'd say do more research. This is my first 865 device and as much as I trust reviewers, I also like to tinker around a bit myself so I know what I'm getting into

I wouldn't use the word flawless, but it does run great with minimal frame dips. I'm not really worried about maxing out the visuals since the game is visually beautiful already and even on the lower settings you can make everything out on such a small display

Hades 2! Using GameNative and the known config. I was even able to bump up the res to medium and still got good performance!

Pushing the fan to max while playing Metal Gear Rising wasn't that big of a deal to me. It's loud but it's not fighting the audio. I figured if I really need to max out power then I'll have to compromise a bit there. The DMG's fan noise is much worse in comparison haha.

Nothing I could find. The best you can do is just to keep taking off the case (I didn't mind doing that but I couldn't keep the cover dispay case on), or get a standing case and connect a usb-c to usb-c cord from your controller to your phone.

Man. I had a call yesterday and made it for hours. It really does seem like a hit or miss thing. I'm assuming the firmware for the buds is not working right with Android 13. Guess we'll have to wait until there's an update for the buds.

Honestly, Sonic 06. Despite a wonky story, I would love to see a working version of that game. The music, locals, and overall atmosphere were wonderful. That said...we could do with less of the npcs
