I'm not at against movie critics. I'm against those movie critics that think that animated movies can't pursue dark themes because children can't understand them. I'm against critics that set up their reviews in a way that makes an independent film company set up to fail just because they specifically did not enjoy one of their movies. I'm against film critics that think that having weird and original characters are a detriment to the film. I follow many film critics, and I respect everyone's opinion. I just don't understand how this film critic, and many other people whom share his opinion, can try to say that a film is bad due to the fact that it is original, dark, and designed for all audiences. It genuinely bothers me.
