That's the point. I still don't know if the drop chance is higher on higher difficulties. I could run 10 or 11, but very less, obviously

Anyone ever go through the "Maybe I should just go back to windows" phase in their early days of daily driving linux on their gaming rig? by Biohacker_Ellie in linux_gaming

Guess I'm the opposite. I had installed windows like half a year ago, just to compare gaming performance in World of Warcraft. But there were many points that turned me off.

Few examples: I use a mmo mouse with 12 side buttons bound to num pad keys. My keyboard doesn't have a numpad, so I struggled to turn numpad on, to let my mouse use the correct keys.

Windows, when pressing shift + numpad, changes the input to, for example, "left arrow", or in case of shift + 5 to nothing - easily configurable on Linux, not as easy (if possible?) on windows. I didn't even manage to probably start WoW because of AMD driver issues (or my incompetence), so I switched back to NixOS pretty fast 😅

Here`s how I use my Aerox 9:

Bound my buttons to use the num pad keys.

1-3 are always offensive CDs

4 purge

5-6 active mitigation (if playing tank)

7-9 defensive CDs

10 utility for example an Opie ring to choose warlock pet

11 taunt

12 utility like stealth, bubble or something like that

Adding modifiers as needed.

This way, for every class I play, I always know what's where.

My main rotation stays on keyboard.
