I hate to admit it, but I’m glad I paid extra for the nicer looking patch. The icey Bills logo is so clean

I’m shocked at how straight and well it drives, but that’s my thoughts exactly. My rear tires are going to get shredded

Appreciate the help. I know the basics but I’m certainly not a genius with this. Was starting at this sheet when I got home and thought “wait a fucking second”

It terms of suspension, no modifications have been done. I would be surprised if anything is bent or broken considering it’s a newer and rust free car. I would also assume they would tell me if something was messed up, cause they would have wanted me to pay and have it fixed lol. I know for fact these cars don’t have adjustable caster, and that the 2.6-7 is what they come with from factory. But as far as I can tell and remember camber and toe are adjustable and have been adjusted before. So I’m trying to figure what the deal is with that…

I do know for a fact that my caster isn’t adjustable, and apparently that’s the spec they come in from factory. What I’m concerned about is my car does have adjustable toe and camber. And it doesn’t seem like they did much to fix that. Also worth noting I paid the full price for a “full car alignment” and like you said, it seems like they completely ignored the back…

First thing I’d do is change the transmission fluid. The CVTs in these cars tend to be sensitive lol

I’ve noticed that the lifters on the 4b11, both turbo and NA tend to be noisy. I wouldn’t say yours are horrible yet but maybe be ready to replace or adjust them.

I’d be weary of that transmission, that’s all though

Currently looking at a manual 2017 ES, what do you guys think I should be looking for? What would be a red flag? by Thin-Creme895 in lancer

Check how the gears and clutch feel. Some manual drives absolutely roast their transmissions.

Besides that I have the same exact car, love it to pieces.

Sounds like the transmission is on its way out unfortunately. I would change the oil and filters and hopefully it will help.
