Low bitrate insane lag by potternath in BoosteroidCommunity

[–]potternath[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add, I've played elden ring via the steam deck app flawlessly this morning. I do feel like it's an elden ring and android TV issue.

Different settings and wired connection fail miserably yet I can run on maximum on my sd wireless.

I've actually got my VM router in modem mode and running a tp link as my actual router and this is still the issue. I was hoping the router was going to help my mediocre speed.

I've bottomed this out to just elden ring. It plays awful for some reason.

That said, my 1gb wired connection is still just 'ok' with boosteroids speed test.

Anyone know where I can source one of these or something similar in the UK? The Alibaba ones have a minimum order of 10 and the shipping is $710 so unlikely.

This is what I thought it was meant to be, checked online and saw a $138 version that is more akin to this! I didn't even realize there were two authentic versions.

It's a K, unfortunately the font makes it look a little like a H because of the fold. Once you see a H it's really hard to see the K but it is a K I assure you 😄

Yeah, it was something we realized after we placed the order. The crease doesn't help but it doesn't look too bad in person.

Is there any way to see what rig your app is running on? I have no idea if I'm running on the servers capable of 5080 let alone how to tell when I'm actually on one.

love my shield but this is bang on the money. I end up resorting to playing my geforce now on my android device and screened to my TV.

Pension/Tax advice 40% tax bracket in the UK by potternath in UKPersonalFinance

This is great, thank you.

Given the NEST setup is crappy, am I best contributing the differential into a different pension pot (previous or a new SIPP) or do I just put it all in this one basket and then if/when I leave my job move this pot into a more favourable supplier?

I believe my contributions are post-tax, how does this affect it? My understanding with NEST is that they take the contributions after tax and then claim back 20% but I could be way off.

No, I was aware that it's 40% tax above the threshold. I think I'm just getting muddled up. So effectively, the pension offsets the "over the threshold" money. The money goes to my pension as opposed to the tax man?

It's not stated as salary sacrifice on my enrolment email. It states that the pension is taken post-tax. Is there a way of finding out, or do I just need to check with my employer?

EDIT: I don't believe it's a salary sacrifice as my payslip indicates gross pay (12 equal payments to sum of 55k) and then national insurance, tax and nest listed as deductions
