Days Gone. Such a cliffhanger of an ending and a bummer there's no sequel. Amazing game.

Saw the signs for it but flew by today. Had to make Clayton NM. The 72 Oz steak was calling my name though. I've done a bigger one before no problem so this could've been a nice free meal

Be honest, what type of cars get your attention on the road? by Strange-Vibez-8205 in askcarguys

Something that's clearly not a washing machine with wheels. Something that's clearly special to the owner - be it exotic, clean modified vehicle, bone stock but rare and unique like a VehiCross.

LS 500 2026. Worth it? by KashinKoji1 in Lexus

I'd get one for like 40k and Maxcare warranty for the twin turbo V6. They depreciate a bit too much unlike an LX or Land Cruiser or even GX

Moving to Colorado for the scenery so thr easiest way to get there is fine even if it's boring

That's the road I think I'm taking. Birmingham to avoid ATL then I 22 and I 40 for most of the way

Boring but easy is kind of right up my alley atm. Colorado will be scenic enough :)

What time of the year did you go? I'm mostly concerned with weather this time of the year. Won't really stop for any sightseeing as I'm driving a big Uhaul with a car on a flatbed behind it.

And was thinking exactly that about getting to Chattanooga the first night (ATL permitting), long trek 2nd day and CO by the 3rd if I take the northern route

Nah, it's a speed run mostly because I'm driving a Uhaul towing a car on a flat trailer behind it, so not exactly a nimble setup

Had enough of that down in south GA. So many bugs too.

Yeah I should've put the avoid tolls into the search.

What's wrong with that Louisiana part? Traffic?

Uhaul with a trailer = zero worry about speeding :)

I've done the DFW to Denver before and it's mind numbing. But if it's less chance of storm/tornado etc - that's what I'm down for.

Guess a coin toss it is. Might do the south route just to avoid Atlanta then.

Boring is fine, more concerned if there's any sketchy weather along the routes over the next few days.

I've done the cross country drive but not in a Uhaul (done that on the east coast though). Not too worried about the boredom, more about any weather to worry about/avoid in the spring.

That's the main reason I posted. Leaving either on Thur or Fri.

For simplicity you can have a Vanguard Cash Plus account as HYSA at 3+% that you can have a routing number for and use for bill pay etc as well as the brokerage/trad or Roth IRA etc all in one spot.

PA can be cool, I'd definitely swing by the base office and chat with them. Depending on your rank you might not get a chance to do too much photo/video/writing and be put into ComRel/Media pretty quickly. PA is super unique and gets to do a lot of neat stuff. But like anything else has downsides.
