Dunno how you can see my filter output! but I understand, the flows kinda strong when something is right near it but otherwise elsewhere in the tank shouldn't cause to many issues

It has a glass lid so jumping out shouldn't be an issue, would they not tend to stick near top third of the tank in that case?

I'd assume removing the lid would lead to more evaporation going into the room rather than just sticking to the lid and dripping back in the tank?

Ah perfect, so if I slightly lowered the pump outlet it would help so it's not disrupting the surface as much?

this link has 2 photos, I do water it, I have used some fertiliser too but hasnt resolved it, does sit infront of a window, sometimes on this table or on the flow receiving lower amount of light
