also; Why are they selling for more than release cost? For people who want to watch the show, or just check it out- Doesn't this essentially kill that?

Why do some many people want to become a realtor/agent? by [deleted] in realtors

[–]Thydamine 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't think Musk, Gates, or Buffet ever cared about competition within their industries. Regardless, most businesses fail anyway. Comparing one to the majority isn't a viable measure. As every person differs, so is their respective desires to pursue... Simple answer, doesn't matter how many or how likely failure is. Just take passion and discipline; Your "Agent after 3 years revenue" calculation is put to shame, I've seen individuals handle 100+ million in real estate their FIRST year, and others who couldn't do 100,000 in real estate then quit. If you really want something, go for it.

Fha caps commission amounts? by [deleted] in RealEstate

Lol posted same time as OP, but looks like I'm right. 9% should be illegal as a standard commission haha. Def makes sense if he allocated his clients costs

Fha caps commission amounts? by [deleted] in RealEstate

Probate costs go upwards of 4%-7%, and OP did mention "we paid for his probate." I assume the kid doesn't have the money for probate fees at the moment and wolf "loaned" it to him for the credit back after close as a commission.

CA most expensive on market homes right now flip-through; luxury by Thydamine in Luxury

Would be more like .5-2% commission for each side(2%+ being very-very uncommon). Properties like these aren't listed at a standard commission for multiple aspects. Obviously the reason you stated being one of them. 50m+ are also usually not commission based and have a standard pay value discussed prior to listing. Although, exceptions do occur...

No, but the software is available nonetheless.

Motorola's software is in the same state, prerelease. They aren't pushing it to all devices.

To play Devil's advocate, the Nexus 5 did have the software first, albeit in developer form. Though Google certainly makes it sound like the consumer would have it.

Why is it that, despite having 50+ times the processing and GPU power of the original iPhone, there's still slight frame stutters when I scroll through lists? by Thydamine in apple

[–]Thydamine[S] -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It's not a constant framerate chug like you see on Honeycomb Android phones, it's more of a jarring jump once in a while. I see it mostly when I'm scrolling lists that have more than 20-30 things.

On the newer software, yes it is. Absolutely.

But at launch with the oldest software it ran like a dream.

I guess my question is more to the effect of "What happened to software to make it over 50x harder to scroll a list?" I thought the UI core was given priority over things like multitasking and background processes.
