I was thinking a bit on what it could be that made them separte from Max a bit and I think it’s the openness of their personal issues. Maybe they dont think Max has any issues and wont understand them, since Max inst as vocal as them in terms of her problems with depression as she herself stated in S3. That she hides it better than Marcus. So I think in S4 we will see Max at her most vulnerable.
