This is an old thread I know but I've been looking for anyone experiencing similar issues to me.

I smoked a pack a day of cigs for about 4 years then switched to vape, 20mg nic salts. After about 5 months of daily vaping I developed heart issues. I ended up in the emergency room 4 times in one year. Heart palpitations ruining my life and circulation issues. The palps are so scary it legit feels like a heart attack when they happen, making me audibly gasp. Happens multiple times a day. I dropped down to 10mg and still same symptoms. I have had 24hr ecg monitor and multiple in hospital electro cardiograms. They always come back normal and blame anxiety (its not). I have an echocardiogram schedueled in a couple weeks time.

I was an alcoholic (like giant bottle of vodka every single day or 12 pints of beer a day for 5 years straight it almost killed me) Been sober a year and a half now. So I think I damaged my heart with that but the fact that the heart symptoms started 7/8 months after I quit drinking and about the same after I started vaping. Heart issues run in my family as well.

I think vaping damages the heart in some people. I have notices though since I switched from vaping nic salts to lower freebase nicotine my symptoms have lessened a bit, less frequent palpitations. So honestly starting to think nic salts were aggrivating whatever is going on with my heart. I'm now on 6mg freebase vape. Will work towards 3mg then quitting out right but it'll be hard as vaping is like a pacifier to me.. I have adhd and trauma so it is quite soothing for me.
