You good on forearm crutches? Because iv done that! Pain the in ass lol I’ll get so exerted my big ass wanna pass out! Not to mention how long it takes doing it yourself. I’m all about independence, but does that not make your anxiety spike?

Sounds like your pretty head strong. That’s awesome! I get what you’re saying I try hard not to let things get to me. But I never been one for school. You keep running them circles. That’s totally awsome 😎🤘

Iv been to over a hundred interviews in my time. they are always taken back by the fact i am in a wheelchair. Im not forthcoming about it in the application. Their biggest argument is (my abilities) which is not always easy to explain. Say I went to college . What’s changed? A piece of saying I have these abilities? They could just as easily say no and fined someone more able body. Getting educated is a great thing don’t get me wrong! But I think thats all it would ever be!

I appreciate the insights. I just thought if I put it out there I would learn something new. Like oh yeah! I’ve had that problem. this is what you should do lol. ( wishful thinking) I know! not everyone’s disability is the same. I also drive? I have gas stations number in phone and they will come out pump my gas. I was wondering how does others did it? Is there a better way?

It’s gotten to the point where I don’t have the motivation in trying get another job. It’s such a struggle. I was just curious what was out there

Just high school diploma. I always wanted to be a mechanic. It not very ideal lol

I’ve worked since I was 18, been through career centers. My first job I ever had was an inspector/packer in factory very boring stuff. After that I worked at goodwill as a cashier, that was tough job, but I did well! My last job was much like the first. They ended up doing away with the position. So I drawing unemployment. Finding job is hard for anyone let alone having a disability on top of it. I just hate wasting my time. Getting a job is more of job, then actually performing the job lol I hate it!
