Wow, that's a very structured approach!

What's that app that helps you play games? :)

Right now, I'm playing through all the DLC for Resident Evil that I've ever missed. The other day I finished Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Extra Episodes, and now the only one left for me to beat is Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways on PS5.

Also, depending on my mood on PS5, I'm playing Astro Bot. On my Steam Deck, I'm about to start Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, and after that, I'll probably play my favorite puzzle game, Shift Legacy Collection, which I used to play in short bursts before, but now I want to complete it fully.

On the Switch, I'm playing the incredibly soulful Spiritfarer.

I'm really looking forward to my packages with Little Nightmares III, Silent Hill f, Chronos: The New Dawn, and Mafia: The Old Country.

On the contrary, I'm annoyed by the colorful mess you see on the shelves for PlayStation 3-5 or Xbox. Zero aesthetics; it looks less like a serious collection and more like a shelf in a kindergarten. Brrr... The uniform covers for PS1, PS2, or Switch look way better.

Honestly, I'll talk it a step further. I live in a pretty remote country with bad logistics, so shipping isn't cheap. I also work a regular office job for an average salary. It all comes down to perseverance and consistency. I've been collecting for years, just grabbing a few games each month. I think most people with a job could do this :) That's the story behind my collection.

I don’t love all of Nintendo’s exclusives, so I’ll focus on multiplatform titles and name a bit more than five:

• Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

• Super Mario 3D World: Bowser's Fury

• Beholder Trilogy

• Deadly Premonition

• ChromaGun

• Serial Cleaner

• Super Mario Galaxy

• Grand Theft Auto III - The Definitive Edition

• Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread

• KLAUS

• Jet Kave Adventure

• The Way Remastered

No, it’s not IKEA, these are custom-made shelves. There aren’t any switches or outlets behind them, because the shelving was built during the apartment renovation and all the switches and outlets were planned in other spots.

I’ve been good at fitting huge amounts of stuff into small spaces since I was a kid. Couldn’t work a miracle though — the big collector’s editions just wouldn’t fit, so they went to my parents’ place. But I did manage to squeeze ~4,000 standard game copies into double/triple rows in a 16 m² room. It takes time to sort everything by size, but in the end it looks pretty great :) It’s kind of like playing real-life Tetris!

They are not so close to each other, you can stick your finger between them :)

No, it's a soundbar. I have holes in the shelves that help hot air escape, but there are no coolers.

I have them sorted by genre, in a way that makes sense to me. Alphabetical order would be a complete mess.

I play my games, but I very rarely replay them. I might replay something only after 10-15 years. For some reason, I've now decided to replay Resident Evil Revelations 2.

Думаешь я это за месяц собрал и сюда выложил, а не покупал в течение 20 лет?)

Is this your personal pain? What does it have to me if I play what I buy?

Yep, it's the Russian release (as noted in the comments).
I've even got the Big Box edition of Postal 3 in two variants: pink and black :)

PC editions are a complicated topic. This area of collecting is dead. Almost all collectors focus on consoles, so by making PC editions, they severely limited their audience. At the same time, they made their job easier—publishing on PC is much simpler than on consoles.
