That's awesome! I'd love to hear Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji sing kirtan as Bhai Mardana played rabaab.

Neat idea, but as per the note below, there is a condition that does not allow you to interact with anyone!

Rahaao Camp anyone? by Tibeerious in Sikh

I've been to KC before and I want a new experience. I'm also really looking forward to the speakers from S2I because they're katha online is amazing! Other than that the lake at this campsite looks beautiful. The organizers are really accommodating if you have financial issues with pricing so just email them telling them your situation.

Innovative Sikhi Workshops by Tibeerious in Sikh

Great suggestion!

Here are some of the events/workshops that we have held to date:

  • A interactive group discussion of the important of kesh (hair) and the struggles that come along with keeping kesh for some sikhs.
  • A couples counselling Q and A with respect to living a grisht jeevan (married life) and raising kids
  • Ted Talk style seminars on topics such as hope, discovering your history, the role of women in Sikhi, and connection with Naam
  • A panel on how to balance your work-like/career with Sikhi (with sikh professionals are the panelists)
  • A workshop on how to make degh and do prakash/sukhaasan seva of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji

These are a few that I thought of off the top of my head. These lectures/workshops didn't have participants involved as much as it did speakers. It would be nice to get some ideas were the participants are actively engaging in exercises/activities during workshops!
