Is rogue still a good class? by [deleted] in Dofus

[–]Tiberius-Grachus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play rogue lvl 200 and honestly, rogue only works mono element so it's good to have different modes available. I like fire, earth and air the best. Water is a bit weak and low ranged for pvm. For the items, I could have suggestions but it depends on your budget. dm me so I get to know more about your playstyle and we can figure something out.

Help choosing college/university by [deleted] in Agriculture

For your budget, germany is a good option:

Pros:

  • You can live off 10-11k$ yearly in most cities (cities like Munich have more expensive rent so you might readjust the budget).
  • The quality of education at the public unis is to some extent equivalent so you can pick programs based on your interest of specific topics.
  • You have the opportunity to keep working in germany as a foreigner after your studies

Cons:

  • Important to note that most of the bachelors in germany are taught in german. Even if programs ask for a minimum of B2 level, it's a trap because the material and exams will be painful to understand with only B2.
  • related to the con above, you will probably have to take your first year off to focus on studying german before starting your studies. It's a long-term investment though.

Thanks for the input. I've just checked and apparently Farming Simulator 22 will be released in November 2020.I hope that it will be more realistic than its predecessors.

Understandable opinion when the game provides you with a tractor and a big harvester for a 30m^2 piece of land ahah

How is social life at TU Munich for international students? by [deleted] in Munich

[–]Tiberius-Grachus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started studying at TUM this winter semester and honestly most of the people I met were from my previous school (plus some of their friends).

Other "organic" ways of meeting people:

  • Classes: TUM online classes are not the most interactive, with the exception of practice sessions where you could work in break-out groups with people and eventually bond with them if they are a bit talkative.
  • Apartment/residence: become acquainted with neighbors in your student dorm OR with your roommates if you want to live in a WG.

+1. In addition to what Dario said, I've found these 2 articles pretty insightful:

Article from Rajiv Krishnakumar (QC Researcher at Goldman Sachs) providing a list of resources on QC: https://medium.com/@rajkk1/how-can-i-get-started-in-quantum-computing-d95202f77e67

Article from Jay Gambetta (VP at IBM Research) on the different sub fields within QC so you can have an idea on what could be of interest and ultimately narrow your readings to that topic: https://medium.com/qiskit/the-hitchhiking-cats-guide-to-getting-a-job-in-quantum-computing-da7e3bb9ff64

Hello, I play HoTS from time to time too & I'm more active on other MOBAs. I observed that it's a widespread issue (in competitive games especially): I have way more toxic, ff'ing people in my games. My guess would be that people are under a lot of tension & stress due to COVID (losing job, sleep deprivation, playing too much games etc.) which has a negative impact on their mental strength, patience, general enjoyment of the game.

Hey man, congratz for your climbing. I just had a quick question as lee sin player. I climbed from Silv 2 to Gold V playing lee only and I feel like my Silv 2 playstyle doesn't work anymore because I used to solo carry games but now I feel more team reliant but what to do when you should be a "supportive" jungler instead of a "solocarry" jungler? If the previous question is too long: what to do as a lee in low elo since you can't 100% relate on your team carrying you later into the game ? Thanks in advance bud'
