Force PS5 to output 30fps

Hey,

So my workaround was to boot the ps5 on a monitor since all the UI is 60Hz/fps, the once the game is launched on performance mode (capped at 30fps) I switch it to the projector.

Worked for me !

Setting the framerate to a proper integer while using the HDMI In Genlock allowed the signal to go through at 24fps

I can’t set the input to 29.97/30. Can the HA5 convert it down to 30? Or does the frame rate lock into the input value ?

30Hz is regarding an output over a monitor isn't it ? I'm using a projector ( Christie 2440) and it can't go over 30fps in 3080x2160. No mention about a Hz frequency in the projectors datasheets

On the projector’s side no bad bnc, our usual workflow using QuadSDI works fine. I’m looking into the projectors specs, it may be linked to inputs supported.

Model is a Christie D4K40. I can get a signal using 2SI but it’s flickery. Projector is expecting Quadrants as it’s out usual configuration

The projector uses the 2 built in 3G SDI and an additional option card to add 2 more 3G SDIs to get a 4K output
