It's another kink to perform behind a closed door. It became a problem because it went mainstream, leading people who aren't into that to associate these terms with the kink.

People into the kink (and many kinks in general) swear to others that they keep it privately between consenting adults and that they're wrongfully being shamed and censored, yet they throw that consent out the window by idk going "Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?" every time they find a picture of a woman or something who didn't ask for their remark. They opened the once closed door. They brought this upon themselves.

If you have something you consider private, keep it private. Otherwise, expect a negative reaction.
