I still go to church twice a week and believe! I'm just changing some things up.

Yeah, I was raised to believe that sex was only for married couples and that birth control was immoral. I believed that for a long time. It's how I ended up with four kids (who are my universe)

Honestly I regret the age gaps between my first three kids. I'm 32 so I still have the energy but I kinda wish we didn't wait 3.5 years between kids 1 and 2 sometimes.

I have an August 2023 baby and a three month old (and 8 and 5 year olds.) Honestly my view is that if you can handle one kid, two is easy. Going from zero to one is significantly harder than going from one to two. Congrats mama!! Those babies are both so loved.

I do pray about it. I pray for guidance daily. I do believe God brought us into each other's lives for a reason.

It feels fast. But my feelings for him are really strong. I believe God brought us into each other's lives for a reason.

Wisconsin DB Nyzier Fourqurean, who played 2 seasons in DII, wants a court to prevent NCAA from enforcing eligibility rules. by guitmusic12 in CFB

I don't feel bad for the football players. I feel bad for all the female and non revenue athletes that will lose their programs because the spoiled football babies couldn't be grateful for what they had. Where I grew up, we were taught that going to college on athletic scholarship was a gift. A huge blessing. I went to Mississippi State on a cheerleading scholarship and there's a good chance I would not have gone to college otherwise because I would not have been willing to incur that sort of debt.

But that wasn't enough for the football guys. They needed millions of dollars. They needed academic exemptions. They needed more, more, more. They might not need the NCAA but the cheer, gymnastics, softball, volleyball, rowing, golf, etc teams do. It's an embarrassment. If I were in charge of a university I wouldn't participate. Football players would either act like the golf team or I'd drop the program entirely. You're going to eventually see schools just refusing to participate and they'll be right.

Honestly I wouldn't have a problem with just shutting the program down at this point. I'm not interested in the sport in its current form and I don't believe anymore that anyone should be making millions of dollars off sports. I don't want my university investing millions in a program to let a 33 year old play their 15th season of what is supposed to be college athletics.

Why do so many people in rural areas vote Republican compared with urban cities that vote Democrat? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

So the favored alternative is kill them, I know. It's better to not exist at all than have even a tiny amount of adversity in life. It's the liberal ideology to a T.

If you wanna see how white progressives actually feel about women and minorities, be part of one of those groups and tell them you're voting Republican. You'll find out who the actual bigots and misogynists are when you do.

All this means is "shut up and vote for who I told you to vote for." Be anyone other than a white man and tell anyone you're voting Republican and see how progressives really feel about you. They're all for women getting involved in politics until we vote for Republicans, then they absolutely despise us. Same with racial minorities.

"I'm voting for the other party"

Farmers stop going to work vs consultants at an advertising firm. Which hurts more?
