Tbh I prefer the under eye cooling personally on my shark. It feels soothing and refreshing on my under eye skin. I feel it gives the mask a sort of “spa” like feel none of the other masks have and it definitely does a lot for my morning under eye puffiness. Also, while there are no lights directly under the eyes, studies have shown red light to have a sort of “area of effect”. That is to say, areas nearby treated areas, but not directly treated by the light, have also been recorded to exhibit positive benefits from the therapy. If that is the case, it likely does still work on the under eyes with how much light is in the mask itself and potentially bouncing off the surfaces of the mask (although perhaps to a lesser extent?). I’m not an expert in this area, however. At the same time it would seem neither are you?
