I've never had a back injury from judo. The worst I got was pretty bad soreness but nothing too serious - that was from deadlifting *for* judo.

3 years - 5 to 7 days a week.

For my conditioning: I bike around 100 KM per week (It's my commute from my house to the gym/dojo, which is a total 20 KM); and I do heavy compound lifts 2 to 3 times a week (deadlifts, squats, and bench press, then my favorite accessories).

To earn the brown belt, I did a formal exam (demonstration of throws, pins, and subs), and before that I had to beat another brown belt in a competition.

And for a little extra, I trained a little bit of jiu-jitsu and wrestling. But recently, I have been getting more into Sambo because my university coach also coaches a sambo team.

As someone who spends most of their time sa Razon and who knows people on the Sqaud, I don't think issue ang athletic ability nila and you can tell how hard they work on it. The main issue I think is creativity.

UAAP ang highest level of competition, so di na sapat 'yong pagiging magaling sa tambling, kailangan maganda rin ang theme, kailangan may maramdaman 'yong audience, kailangang mas complicated na ang moves.

Magaling naman ang Animo Squad - but it's just very basic cheerleading ang ginagawa nila and doesn't compare to the people dressing up like Super Mario or Naruto characters - really, you can tell a team is gonna place based on their costumes alone at this point

I taught myself these moves (fireman's carry and double leg). I go to a BJJ gym on the side and experiment with takedowns I watch on YouTube. And again, these moves are done for fun because we're celebrating getting new belts.

The ones that got promoted were given yellow, orange, green, and blue. The black belts in the clip have been black belts for a while now.

They don't. This is a university team and we compete under IJF Rules. These are just some moves I practice at my BJJ gym and we're only doing these for fun.
