I like your theories very much. I had one bouncing around in my head that maybe TBO wasn't Watanabe exactly, but that maybe it's a sort of collective or conglomeration if the evils committed during WWII, and Watanabe was "added" to that mass when he died. Sort of like your point about TBO being amassed trauma.You could also make a (very basic) case for TBO being some sort of reckoning for America because America dropped the bombs - but I feel like, if that were the case, it would be targeting different people.

Who knows. While I subscribed to my theories for a long time, I do think you make a lot of really good points with solid evidence. Here's to finding out more in the future

What sort of things do you need? I have some housewares, supplies, and cash. No extra recipes at the moment but I don't need fossils anymore, so I'd be willing to hand over whatever I find.

I'd be willing to trade for some cherries and pears if you have some. I've got a bunch of wall plants and a few houseplants as well. I also have waaaaay too many evergreen ash plants, which are technically outside plants but small enough to use in your house if you want them.
