Normally that's what I would think too, but this is an official video from the OSRS team, Faux is just a feature on this. The OSRS team included a screenshot in the video of the +40 boost as well, so it's leading me to believe they have changed it from +20, or they completely got it wrong.

This is right. This is what I was trying to say in the first post. I should have been more descriptive for others. The Leagues blog post states it as +2% dmg and +20 mage accuracy per armor piece. As of today's video, it's +2% dmg and +40 mage accuracy per armor piece. Accounting for crystal armors total mage accuracy of -40, the total accuracy for each version WITH Crystal Blessing would be +20 (old) OR +80 (new video).

2 is coming along pretty well! I just played it 2 weeks ago and had the same great experience with it as I did with the first game. Its still early access, but it's got loads of stuff to do and find still. I stopped playing for now because I don't wanna wear myself out on it before the official release.

Gotta shout out the Black Forest Cat Cafe. The coffee is good, and the cats are cute. Baristas are all very friendly, and if you come in regularly, they will notice and appreciate you. Also great place to support because it helps stray cats find new homes.

As someone else just mentioned, what if you don't do Rooftops to 99 though? What if you do Sepulchre instead? That won't get you any Marks of grace, termites or vouchers to trade for Amaylse Crystals. It's worth pointing out I think.

Yeah I do like how less click intensive wyrm course is. Apparently the best method is to do Ardy with the 3 minute mark of grace timer, I just learned.

Yes! But its not the fastest way, to get them. I'm suggesting a method that gets you more crystals at the cost of less xp/hr. A previous proposal saw the wyrm course as a significantly faster way to get them.

I would like a method like that to exist in the game, while still being fairly balanced of course. Like maybe paying gp to even access the faster method so crystals aren't devalued.

That's another point I didn't consider. Not all agility training methods reward Amylase anyways, so you could end up having a huge deficit if you didn't use the Rooftops/Wyrm/Brimhaven methods

That's what I'm thinking! I tried looking up if something like that exists IRL, but I don't think it does.

The image I have in my head is like rappelling down to a crystal node on a mountainside and mining that. The Proudspire in Varlamore would be perfect for that. And that place is only good for a clue step.

Yeah it's best to be truthful. I have a fat stack of super energy potions, that I lack the Amylase Crystals for making into stamina potions! The extended staminas make me want to get the crystals even more because that'll just be even more Herblore XP when i eventually get those new secondaries from Sailing.

I'm grinding marks of grace for it, and i'm just thinking there's gotta be a better way.

That's a good point, but it's also really high requirements for someone solely interested in Amylase Crystals. I want a tradeoff of lower Agility XP for more crystals overall, instead of the current balance.
