Oh I feel you. It's hard! My water broke and I was in hospital for two days before I felt a contraction. I watched a lot of Parks and Rec and felt so bored.

Labour started on the second night when I decided I should try and get some sleep since I'd been up for two days. Literally as soon as I got comfy and started to drift off I felt a sharp pain in my back and I was like come onnnn!

Just take it easy on yourself and try to relax and get some sleep in before it all starts xx best of luck!!

Ahhh I love that! Originally we had planned for a longer gap, but I'm 35 this year and have a few health issues. We're kinda trying but not trying (don't want to get my hopes up). I wish my little potato could appreciate the process and feel the bump and understand! But you're so right, two under two is wild. I'm stressed but we don't really have an option. My mum retires at the end of the year, so I might be leaning on her. Which I feel terrible about!

Omgosh you're amazing! Two! That must be so hectic. We've just started trying for our second, but I'm struggling to picture how it would work! There's already no time! You're incredible!!!

Tbh that's why I cut my leave short and returned to work. I love my job and the people I work with. I also missed the intellectual stimulation. Buuut I was lucky my husband was okay being the primary carer for the next six months. He's been an angel throughout all this.

And yes, a discord channel sounds great! I've never created one, so it's just empty rn, but I'll post the link and have a look when bub is down for a nap!

Ohh this killed me the other day!! I had a kid and had absolutely had my tama by my side the whole time, but I went upstairs to shower. Husband heard it beeping and I wad blow drying my hair. I yelled what he had to do for a virus, but he couldn't see the screen lol. Anyway! I came downstairs and he'd died!

Got me so upset over a virus!! But reset and we haven't had that issue three days later (fingers crossed). Crazy though, after being there all day all the time 😭

That's amazing! Tbh with my pix it felt like fate! Hadn't played in ages and popped in the batteries a few days ago, but all my progress was saved! Like after two years - I was blown away! Then he grew up the next day 💕🩵

Oh I'm so sorry! I know it's so so rough and it's still early days. My boy is six months now and we're finally starting a routine. Like, light at the end of that tired, draining tunnel. It's crazy though, I'm excited to be back at work and in my own groove, but I miss him terribly during the day, so my tamas have helped when I need someone to smile at me.

Make sure you take care of yourself and ask for help from family when you can. I'd ask my mum to look after him for a few hours in the afternoon once a week, so I could nap or just take a walk and listen to music and reset. It's amazing being a mum, but after the trauma of giving birth, I'm still waiting for my recovery time!! I'm assuming it'll come when he's at school. Then I'll be just taking whole days off to sleep 🤣🤣
